In July 2021 the Northern Ireland Executive published Procurement Policy Note (PPN) 01/21. PPN 01/21 mandates that from 1 June 2022 tenders must allocate a minimum of 10 per cent of the total award criteria to social value. Department for Business, Innovation and Skills The Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (GB) offer a free e-Learning course ‘Winning the Contract’ designed to address the small business knowledge gap on public procurement. The ‘Successful Tendering Guide: The Tender Process’ provides general guidance on tender submission that apply to the public and private sectors.
